Elisabeth Waldl
Elisabeth is a Master’s student in Religious Studies and Art History at the University of Vienna, Austria. Within Religious Studies, she concentrates on Sociology of Religion and Aesthetics of Religion and has a special focus on Arabic and Islamic culture and religion. She likes to do empirical research and to observe and experience lived religion in the ‘religious field’.
She is working for EARS since November 2020 as an analyst and is writing summaries about news from Austria for the dashboard. She loves to research recent topics on religion concerning politics, justice and everyday life and to write articles about it for our website. In her work for EARS, she appreciates the collegial atmosphere within the diverse team, the varied tasks, and the opportunity to learn so much new.
Since 2013, she lives with her family in Vienna and enjoys studying, working and living in its beautiful and manifold environment. She likes to hike through the Viennese forests, do arts and crafts, and share a homemade dinner with family and friends.
