Round Table, University Hospital, KU Leuven
January 21 @ 08:00 - 17:00
A round table discussion on religious diversity and prenatal genetic screening and diagnosis and subsequent decision-making, with representatives of the different hospital teams involved (gynaecologists, neonatologists, case managers, nurses, social services, pastoral care) and researchers of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies. Aim of the exploratory discussion is to share experiences on the role of religion and worldview in the way patients deal with these issues, to identify important questions and challenges given the very diverse character of the patient population and thus to help us to develop and conduct solid and meaningful interdisciplinary research in this area.
