Round table: Cancel Culture

Round table: Cancel Culture

On November 26th, EARS is organising a round table on the topic of Cancel Culture.

We often work with criteria that are an extension of what we call our identity, and this way create an ‘identity bubble’ which clashes with people that do not fit into this bubble. We have blind spots, things we cannot see or understand. However, we need this missing context to understand responses to situations such as cancelling.

What do we do when cancelling happens based on emotions? And can we cancel people on moral grounds? Where is the line here, and who decides on that line?

These and more questions will be discussed during our round table.

This is a members-only event.
