EARS treats personal data of all visitors to our website very carefully. Although we only use a contact form and cookies on our website, we feel the urgency of a Privacy statement, following General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). 

For what purposes does EARS process your personal data?
We only collect personal data using a contact form. This enables us to answer to questions or remarks.

Whose and which personal data is collected by EARS?
In our contact form, we only ask for your name and e-mail address. The information given in the remarks section, is controlled by the user of the form. Any information given to us, will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. At the same time we ask users of our contact form not to share confidential information on other individuals then themselves.

The use of the contact form is non-automated. Therefore it will only take place under full control of our website’s visitors of our website. No information will be collected if the form is not used. 

How does EARS ensure the confidential handling of personal data?
EARS treats personal data as confidential. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. They will not be rented, sold or otherwise shared with or provided to third parties by EARS without your written permission.  

EARS will provide personal data to enforcement authorities or anti-fraud organisations when this is a legal obligation.

For how long will data be stored? 
EARS stores your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The data will not be stored longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data have been collected.

To optimally protect your personal data against unauthorised access or unauthorised use, EARS applies appropriate security technology. Any apparent or actual misuse of data will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities. In addition, EARS takes organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access.

General visitor data, such as the most requested pages, is stored on our website for analyzing purposes. EARS will only use these general visitor data to optimise the layout of the website for your convenience. EARS uses various tools to make the website function optimally and improve user-friendliness. The EARS website may contain links to other websites that do not belong to EARS. We can not be held responsible for how these parties treat personal data. We advise you to always check the privacy policy of these parties and/or to contact them for further information on their privacy policy.
