Marko lives in Serbia and completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the Eastern Orthodox Theological Faculty at the University of Belgrade. Since he was very interested in Canon Law, he also completed a master’s degree at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. Marko worked for seven years as a teacher of Eastern Orthodox Theology in Serbia, and is currently completing a master’s degree in theology and religious studies in Amsterdam. He is interested in the position of women in the Eastern Orthodox Church. His mother tongue is Serbian (Croatian, Montenegrin, and Bosnian), he also speaks English, and would like to learn Russian or Spanish. Marko has been volunteering for two years as a teacher of Eastern Orthodox theology at the Serbian Orthodox Church in Amsterdam. He really likes reading about history and art as well as going to the theater and museums. Marko goes on a pilgrimage to Greece to Mount Athos every year, where he spends a few days in monasteries.
