With combined expertise in law, theology, and European studies, Ryszard is primarily interested in religious diversity and its implications for contemporary European states and societies. He is currently based at Lund University, Sweden, and KU Leuven, Belgium, where he works on projects concerned with migration, law and religion, as well as the internal diversity of the Catholic Church. Outside of academia, he collaborates with several faith-based organizations in policymaking and ecumenism.
